Packaging Innovations is an event in Krakow which was originally held by the Easyfairs company (chain of European trade fair organisers) but for a few years now exists as an independent event. 
My job was to make a new brand identity that will communicate the origins of the event, the recent character of the fairs and the future of the industry. It was important to emphasise the latest trends in packaging design but also make the logo universal and timeless.
I liked the idea of using the abbreviation (PI) but wanted to make it less obvious than in Easyfairs project. I was also inspired by the prism trim scheme used by graphic designers and engineers to design packaging.
